On March 12, the annual Arbor Day, long-awaited sunshine arrived after days of rainy weather.

Classes Begin!

The Benefit Lecture Hall ushered in the first training session of 2021. This training session specially invited Ye Shaping, former Vice President of Lishui University, to deliver a thematic course on "How to Improve Analytical Research Capabilities and Communication and Coordination Skills" for the management team.

Knowledge is like faint lights converging into a galaxy, saplings connecting into a forest,

Gathered in the hearts of every "diligent student",

Like seeds one by one, blooming acre by acre on this soil.

To be an excellent manager, one must possess two abilities:

"Thinking ability and communication ability"

At the beginning, President Ye Shaping started from two major factors affecting team building: "the culture and ideology of the management team, and the capabilities and methods of the management team", and introduced the three-level positioning of workplace personnel's job functions. Senior management should "do the right things", middle management should "do things correctly", and grass-roots staff should "get things done correctly". This is like doing things correctly being like beautiful pearls, and doing the right things being like a thread stringing them together, finally forming a precious pearl necklace. In the workplace, only when these three links are closely connected can a cycle be achieved and repeated.

In the training, President Ye Shaping proposed that to improve thinking ability, one must learn to "conduct investigations and research", which is the foundation for planning and achieving things; one must always adhere to thinking about problems from the "perspectives of history, overall situation, and role"; one must be good at identifying work priorities; one must "think thrice before acting" (three considerations: from start to finish, from finish to start, and the surrounding impact); one must seek changes in difficulties and innovate in the process of seeking changes!

Communication is a method to resolve conflicts, a way to eliminate misunderstandings, a good recipe to heal wounds, and a key to maintaining relationships. President Ye Shaping pointed out that there are two 70% figures in enterprises: the first 70% means that enterprise managers should spend 70% of their time on communication; the second 70% refers to 70% of problems in enterprises will be caused by communication barriers. A leader, no matter how great their ideas are, if they cannot be conveyed to others and correctly understood by others, all ideas are meaningless. We should achieve positive emotional communication, avoid negative communication, and clear the channels for information to flow from top to bottom and vice versa.

The start is a decisive battle, and the beginning is a sprint! Through learning, Benefit's managers have a clearer understanding of their positioning and a clearer direction. In the work of 2021, with greater sense of responsibility and stronger reform and innovation, they will empower and add luster to the priority construction of Benefit's three core cultures, and contribute wisdom and strength to the development of Benefit's cause.
