On November 5, 2018, the Lecturer Group of Zhejiang Benefit Pharmaceutical held the first lecturer debate competition. With the theme of "Which is more conducive to our growth, favorable circumstances or adverse circumstances", 16 debaters from the lecturer group presented a battlefield of "famous speakers" where wisdom and strength converged, and elegance and passion merged, showcasing exquisite language and active thinking to the audience on site.

The opening argument emphasized momentum. The first debater of the pro side stood firm with a wave of the hand, making a dashing appearance. From ancient times to the present, he analyzed the connotation of "favorable circumstances" with a fluent and eloquent speech. The first debater of the con side, on the other hand, put forward that adverse circumstances make people more mature and developed, with an extensive and profound discourse, vowing to compete with the pro side.

During the 2-minute intense confrontation between the pro and con sides and the 16-minute free debate, the two sides exchanged arguments, pushing the competition to a climax time and again. The unique debating points of the contestants opened the audience's eyes, and the language storm on the stage set off a brainstorm on "which is more conducive to our growth, favorable circumstances or adverse circumstances".

In a debate, there is no absolute right or wrong. Its charm lies in the agility of thinking, the collision of viewpoints, and the cooperation of the team. The purpose of debating is to clarify the distinction between right and wrong, examine the principles of order and chaos, clarify the differences between similarity and dissimilarity, and observe the truth of facts. Debating enlightens life, makes people wise, and encourages prudent thinking. By personally experiencing debates, participating in them, and studying hard, we will surely benefit endlessly.

While there was intense debating on the stage, there was reflection off the stage. The senior executives serving as judges not only praised the debaters for their clear arguments and wide range of materials, but also said they had gained profound insights. They also connected with the journey they had gone through along with the company's development, talking about whether favorable circumstances or adverse circumstances are more conducive to people's development. In the end, the pro team, which was "as powerful as a tiger shaking the mountain at the opening and as touching as a force shaking people's hearts in the summary", won the championship.
