Benefit Pharmaceutical Carries Out Hands-on Fire Drill
Work safety carries immense weight. To comprehensively enhance emergency response capabilities and consolidate the enterprise’s safety defense line, Benefit Pharmaceutical organized fire safety training and practical drills on July 23.
Fire Safety Is Everyone’s Responsibility
Theoretical learning comes first to keep the alarm ringing constantly. Prior to the drill, the company’s safety management team explained fire prevention, self-rescue and evacuation skills, as well as standard operation of fire-fighting equipment in light of production characteristics of the pharmaceutical industry, strengthening all staff’s awareness of safety red lines.
Emergency Evacuation Drill:
The alarm went off and the drill officially began! All employees responded promptly, bent down and covered their noses, evacuated rapidly and orderly along safety passages, and assembled for roll call efficiently. Through immersive fire escape simulation, staff clarified evacuation guidelines, enabling them to stay calm and master self-rescue methods in case of fire.
Fire Extinguishing Practical Training:
All staff participated in hands-on fire extinguishing practice, strictly following the four steps: lift, pull, aim and squeeze to put out fire sources accurately, effectively improving practical capabilities in responding to sudden fires.
Fire Hydrant Operation Practice:
Focused training on coordinated operation of fire hydrants was conducted. Staff practiced standard procedures including connecting hoses and nozzles and opening valves. They mastered the whole process of deploying hoses, setting up nozzle positions and putting out fires with hydrants, acquiring core skills for tackling relatively large fires.
Safety is the cornerstone of development, and responsibility is the sharp sword for protection. Director Zhu Meipeng, leader of the safety team, emphasized that pharmaceutical enterprises shoulder tremendous safety responsibilities. All employees must reinforce the safety barrier, integrate safety awareness into daily work, and safeguard the steady development of the enterprise. The drill further strengthened all staff’s fire safety awareness and effectively tested the emergency response mechanism.
