After the intense and busy GMP certification work, on the afternoon of August 18 in the sweltering summer, our company held a meeting themed "2016 First Half Work Summary and Second Half Work Plan" in the conference room on the sixth floor. The meeting was presided over by Director Lou of the Pharmaceutical Office, with the Chairman, General Manager Cao, and all pharmaceutical employees in attendance.

The purpose of this meeting was to carefully summarize the implementation of various tasks in the first half of the year, conduct in-depth analysis of existing problems and shortcomings, further unify thoughts, clarify work ideas, and meticulously plan the work tasks for the second half of the year. The meeting consisted of four sessions: 1. Reviewing the daily work and life details of employees over the past six months through a set of photos; 2. Work reports from employee representatives and middle-level managers; 3. Speech by General Manager Cao; 4. Important speech by the Chairman. A montage of photos depicting employees' work and life contains a profound theme: Human life is inseparable from work, and working hard is aimed at living a happy life. Everyone may have different pursuits and understandings of what constitutes an ideal job and a happy life. In fact, life and work are like a mirror; the attitude you adopt towards them will be the attitude they return to you. When you complain about work and life, you will feel that they seem to be getting farther and farther away from you; when you face them squarely, you will find that work and life are actually within close reach.

Two employee representatives respectively reported on the main work they had undertaken in the company over the past six months, sharing their sincere experiences of continuous learning, proactive progress, and happy living in work, which resonated with everyone. All middle-level managers also carefully and detailedly summarized their work over the past six months. They appropriately affirmed the achievements made, sincerely pointed out the existing shortcomings, and at the same time formulated reasonable plans for the work in the second half of the year.

General Manager Cao delivered an important speech entitled "Comprehensively Implement GMP to Ensure Drug Safety in Enterprises" at the meeting. He proposed the company's main work tasks for the second half of the year: 1. Comprehensively implement GMP management; 2. Complete GMP certification for the two workshops of traditional Chinese medicine oral preparations and Ganoderma lucidum spore; 3. Improve, perfect, and implement various management systems of the pharmaceutical company, and shape the corporate culture; 4. Do a good job in the application for the pilot project of formula granules. The Chairman delivered an important speech at the meeting, pointing out that: 1. GMP is the red line for enterprises, and all work must unswervingly and strictly comply with GMP requirements; 2. Enterprise production must adhere to the principle of quality first and safety foremost; 3. The work tasks in the second half of the year are arduous, and everyone must go all out to complete all work deployed by the company.

Achievements belong to the past, and dreams still require our efforts to realize. In the second half of the year, we will embark on a new journey. Colleagues, under the correct leadership of the Chairman and General Manager Cao, let us unite as one, continuously improve, strive to enhance, be pragmatic and pioneering with enthusiasm and perseverance, sincerity and dedication, diligence and simplicity, passion and sweat, and strive to take all work to a new level.
