——A Record of the March 12 Tree-Planting Activity At 8:30 a.m. on March 12, more than 30 tree-planters from the Pharmaceutical and Commercial divisions gathered at the entrance on time. Under the leadership of Deputy General Manager Cao (Pharmaceutical Division) and Deputy General Manager Wu (Commercial Division), some female employees stayed on the grass to prune branches, while the others, carrying tools such as hoes, shovels, buckets, ropes, and saws, went to the tree-planting site in the vegetable field west of the preparation workshop happily.

The tree-planting activity involved transplanting eight trees from the edge of the vegetable field wall in front of the preparation workshop to the green belt west of the preparation workshop and extraction workshop. Although the tree pits had been initially dug in the green belt, the trees by the vegetable field were already as thick as a bowl's mouth, with deep roots and lush leaves, and were located at the edge of the distant vegetable field wall. Therefore, within half a day, it was quite difficult for colleagues who usually do little physical labor to dig up the trees with their roots and soil, prune the branches, and carry them without damaging the vegetables. Despite many difficulties, everyone was not afraid at all. Upon arriving at the vegetable field, at Deputy General Manager Wu's order, the on-site personnel were immediately divided into three groups. They selected trees, stepped on the mud, waved their hoes, worked with enthusiasm, and got busy in full swing.

To ensure the trees could survive, it was necessary to retain as much of the root system and soil as possible, so everyone tried to dig a wide range around the roots. One hoe, two hoes, three hoes... When the person digging in front got tired, someone from behind quickly took over. Everyone continued working in an orderly manner, and even though they were sweating profusely, they did not easily step back. After about half an hour, with a few loud crashes, three large trees were successively dug up. The female colleagues by the field, under the guidance of Deputy General Manager Wu, quickly got busy pruning the branches and leaves. In a short while, the branches were pruned. Some young men tied ropes to the tree roots, placed two thick sticks, and everyone, summoning up their strength, worked together to carry the trees one by one from the vegetable field on their shoulders, stepping deeply and shallowly in the mud, and placed them steadily into the tree pits in the green belt. Then they watered, fertilized, and filled the pits with soil, tamping the roots firmly before returning to the vegetable field to continue working.

At the tree-planting site, everyone worked in close coordination with shovels and hoes: some shoveled soil, some pruned branches and leaves, some carried trees, some held the trees upright and filled the pits, some fertilized and watered. They were all busy and cheerful. After two hours of hard work, the eight large camphor trees were successfully "settled" in the green belt, and everyone left happily as if they had won a battle.

In this tree-planting activity, some young colleagues may have never done heavy work at home, but they took the initiative to participate and went all out. Although their palms were blistered, their legs were cramping, and their clothes were covered in mud, they had no complaints. After completing the tree-planting task, each of them wore a proud and satisfied smile on their face. As the saying goes: "A single chopstick is easy to break, but a bunch of chopsticks is hard to break." This shows how powerful the strength of a team is. This tree-planting activity fully demonstrated that Benefit people are a vibrant team, a warm and harmonious team, a team full of combat effectiveness, a team with a strong sense of collective honor, and an invincible team.
