On March 7, 2016, a delegation of leaders including Huang Luqi, academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, vice president of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and director of the Chinese Materia Medica Resources Center of the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences; Li Daning, former deputy director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine; Sun Qiuhua, secretary of the Party Committee of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University; and Xu Weiwei, director of the Zhejiang Provincial Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, visited the company for guidance. 

Mr. Wu Lihua, chairman of the company, and Mr. Cao Defu, deputy general manager of the Pharmaceutical Company, warmly received them. Chairman Wu introduced the current overview of Benefit Pharmaceutical. He stated that the company is the first enterprise in Zhejiang Province to take the lead in launching research on "traditional Chinese medicine formula granules". Over the years, it has persisted in and focused on the development and research of the modern traditional Chinese medicine health industry. After more than 6 years, the company has expanded from an initial pharmaceutical wholesale enterprise to now covering pharmaceutical production, green medicinal material planting, and medical and health care institutions, and has been committed to developing the ecological economic industry in Lishui. At present, the modern traditional Chinese medicine health industry is a sector that the company is concentrating its efforts and resources to develop, and it is the most important industrial content of the company.

Academician Huang, Deputy Director Li, Secretary Sun, Director Xu and other leaders delivered speeches one by one, fully affirming that the enterprise has been focusing on the scientific research work of formula granule products and has achieved excellent scientific research results. They highly recognized the enterprise's strategic direction of deploying the development of the big health industry. 

For the future development of the enterprise, Director Li put forward several suggestions for the enterprise: 

 1. To meet the new "Administrative Measures for Traditional Chinese Medicine Formula Granules", the following points should be done: a. Establish product quality standards; b. Establish product sales and origin channels (raw material bases, with traceable raw materials); 

 2. Do a good job in product classification and development direction (principles: 1. Develop health products with both medicinal and edible properties according to seasons, develop health products with clinical effectiveness and definite curative effects, and establish good cooperation with medical institutions, especially doctors who understand health preservation and health care);

 3. Grasp the market and determine the product direction according to the market. In response to the three suggestions put forward by Deputy Director Li, Chairman Wu said that Benefit Pharmaceutical will definitely grasp the big health industry, seize the opportunity, go all out for it, and move forward with the trend.
