To comprehensively review and summarize the company's work in the first half of the year, carefully analyze existing problems and gaps, better plan and deploy the work for the second half of the year, and ensure the successful completion of the 2023 annual target tasks, on July 1, more than 30 core management team members from various sectors of Benefit Pharmaceutical gathered in Qingyuan County, known as "China's No.1 County in Ecological Environment", to grandly hold the 2023 mid-year work deployment meeting. They jointly reviewed the strenuous efforts made in the first half of 2023 and looked forward to embarking on a new journey in the second half of the year.

Wu Lihua, Chairman of Benefit Pharmaceutical, opened the deployment meeting with the statement that "one can only have a position through achievements, and with a position, one must make achievements". Faced with new situations, new tasks, and new challenges, managers must continuously engage in self-cultivation and self-improvement. He clarified that the two major elements for improving execution are: personal ability and work attitude. Attitude is the foundation, and ability is the key.

The first agenda of the meeting was that Chairman Wu Lihua delivered a mid-year work deployment report entitled "Breaking the Deadlock - Marching Forward Bravely with a Determined Heart", clarifying that all staff should break the deadlock with "quality" and win with "wisdom" in the second half of the year.

The Chairman affirmed everyone's work in the first half of the year, stating that with the strong support of managers from various sectors of Benefit and the joint efforts of team members, the work goals set at the beginning of the year have been achieved. Then, he elaborated on the report from four aspects: review of key work in the first half of the year, work deficiencies and gaps from the goals, focus on work priorities [goals], and work ideas for the second half of the year. He also proposed that Benefit's development should prevail through speed and breakthroughs, and that one should learn to "race against time" to achieve a high-value life.

Chairman Wu Lihua clarified the key work for the second half of 2023 at the meeting: "innovative projects, two accelerations and one excellence, cost reduction and efficiency improvement, quality assurance, customer orientation, system construction, goal achievement, filing work, technical research, and talent introduction". He emphasized that in the second half of the year, all managers should "strive for excellence, transform, and improve", including management innovation, ideological refinement, firm transformation, and enhancement of professional level and capabilities.

When the wind is strong and the momentum is sufficient, one should hoist the sails to break through the waves; when the responsibility is heavy and the journey is long, one needs to ride the horse at a faster pace. The Chairman stated: Half the time has passed, and the tasks are arduous. In the second half of the year, we must press the "fast-forward button", run at "accelerated speed", and embark on a "new journey". We should adopt the mentality of living a hard life, do a good job in urgent matters, strive for the results of a good life, make double efforts, run at Benefit's speed, and live with pride. All management cadres must fully engage in the sprint to achieve the annual work targets.

For undertaking undertakings and starting businesses, talents are the foundation. In the current economic context, there are no longer any "windfalls" in all walks of life, and all aspects of work are becoming more professional and refined. To build a team of versatile cadres who are "both extensive and specialized", and a contingent of cadres with excellent skills, adaptable to the requirements of the new era, and capable of leading the construction of modern teams, Benefit will launch the Management Cadre Excellence (Transformation) Improvement Course starting from July.

The second agenda of the meeting was the opening ceremony of the Benefit Management Cadre Excellence (Transformation) Improvement Course. At the beginning of the ceremony, group leaders and the class teacher delivered speeches on behalf of the participants. All members made a commitment regarding the nine training sessions: strictly abide by the relevant regulations of the training, quickly implement the effective implementation of various plans in the transformation study, and through learning, change themselves, starting from me.

A new blueprint starts a new journey, and a new mission calls for new actions. In the second half of the year, all staff of Benefit Pharmaceutical will work together, go through trials and hardships, strive forward, show new achievements, create new performance with an enterprising spirit, write a new chapter, and achieve a "full-year success" in performance.
