In order to cherish the memory of the contributions made by revolutionary martyrs to the Chinese revolution, to receive more education on revolutionary traditions, and to give full play to the vanguard and exemplary role of Communist Party members in the new normal and in the construction of a socialist market economy with Chinese characteristics, the Party Working Committee of the Development Zone recently organized a Party-building activity themed "Launching a Red Journey to Trace the Footprints of the Party".

The activity was held at the Liu Ying Memorial Hall, which is not only a place where the revolutionary martyr Liu Ying worked, but also a site left by the Red Army during their transfer to Lishui.

The memorial hall is not large. Stepping into the exhibition hall, the first thing that comes into view is the statue of Liu Ying and the introduction to Liu Ying's deeds engraved on the pedestal of the statue. I stood there for a long time, with a multitude of thoughts surging in my mind. Then I entered the relics exhibition room, where items such as anti-Japanese songs, Liu Ying's primary school graduation certificate, documents, revolutionary books, photos, as well as some cabinets, tables and chairs used by Liu Ying during his lifetime are displayed.

Regarding Martyr Liu Ying, I had some understanding from books and picture albums before. Today, after visiting the martyr's memorial hall, I feel even more reverence for his heroic spirit of fighting bravely against the cruel enemies and remaining unyielding until death. I am truly in awe of those martyrs who went through fire and water in the difficult years for the birth of New China and for the people to live a happy life.

Walking out of the memorial hall and standing on the land of Lishui beneath my feet, I deeply feel that today's happy life is hard-won. I can't help but think that I must cherish it, work hard, and make more contributions to the enterprise and society.
