Anchoring goals to forge ahead bravely and pooling efforts to tackle challenges for a new start. On August 12, 2022, Zhejiang Benefit Pharmaceutical held the 2022 mid-year work deployment conference. More than 30 core management team members from various sectors of the company gathered to discuss new strategies and paths for development.

At the meeting, participants freely expressed their opinions on the topic "Why do people live?" put forward by the chairman. Starting from the three aspects of "change, learning, and team", based on their respective job realities, they shared their understanding dimensions and profoundly interpreted the beliefs and values that "people should have" in life. The scene was filled with active speeches and a lively atmosphere.

Subsequently, Chairman Wu Lihua delivered a work deployment report entitled "Recognize the Situation, Enhance a Sense of Urgency; Clarify Tasks, Achieve New Leaps".

The chairman first affirmed everyone's hard work and the achievement of the annual goals of all sectors of the company in the first half of the year. Then, he elaborated on the report from four aspects: review of key work in the first half of the year, work deficiencies and gaps from the goals, focus on work priorities [goals], and work ideas for the second half of the year, and put forward the four "only ways" for Benefit's development.

Specialization: Specialization is the only way for Benefit's sustainable development.

Lean management: Lean management is the only way for Benefit to gain advantages in characteristic management, benefit management, and segmented markets.

Characteristic development: Characteristic development is the only way for Benefit to win core competitiveness.

Innovation: Innovation is the only way for Benefit to form competitive advantages.

At the meeting, the chairman re-clarified the key work to be focused on in 2022: "innovative projects, two accelerations and one excellence, cost reduction and efficiency improvement, quality assurance, customer orientation, system construction, goal achievement, filing work, technical research, and talent introduction". He emphasized that in the second half of the year, all managers should "attach importance to incentives, strictly implement assessments, build systems, and set examples", and change their cognition, thinking, and efficiency.

Finally, the chairman called on all: in the second half of the year full of challenges and opportunities, it is necessary to "unify goals, unify thoughts, unify rules, unify actions, and unify voices". We should anchor the various goals for this year, refine the goals, re-implement responsibilities, and advance the timeline, so that development and competitiveness become a belief!

The chairman signed the "Sprint Target Responsibility Letter" with some middle and senior leaders, aiming to enhance the cohesion of the team, stimulate everyone's self-reflection, ensure clear goals and consistent directions, and move forward courageously to achieve the goals.

Anchoring the course unchanged, we will move forward at full speed.
